This Cannibal skull from Borneo is a war trophy by the Dyak people of Borneo, who were once feared as headhunters and cannibals.
The practice of headhunting began about one hundred years ago according to World Press Review, was occuring in some areas as recently as 1997.
Armed with ceremonial swords, muskets and spears, and driven by the fierce competition for land and jobs, the Dyaks have reportedly killed as many as 5,000 Madurese immigrants.

Office works to bring jobs, students to western Kansas
In an effort to help connect at-risk youth with job training and placement, Flint Hills Job Corps has opened an outreach and admissions office in the Kansas Works building, 332 E. Eighth.
